The Group

For almost 30 years, HBF Group has been supplying DIY products (electrical, lighting, home automation, HVAC) to the mass retail sector.

In a world that is constantly changing and renewing itself, our products have evolved to become both electrical and digital solutions, with the common denominator of comfort and security for all the inhabitants of the home. INOTECH creation

1996

Henri Forest and Jean-Pierre Fichepain founded INOTECH, specialist in the design, manufacture and marketing of electrical equipment for DIY superstores.

ELEXITY integrates INOTECH

2007

ELEXITY integrates INOTECH as a company specialising in lighting import, development and distribution. At the same time, INOTECH acquires OTIO, home automation solutions creator.

HBF Polska creation

2008

HBF Polska creation, a subsidiary based in Wroclaw in Poland. It specialises in the packaging and distribution of electrical equipment.

HBF Group creation

2009

The HBF Group was created following a partnership with the Spanish group Cablerias.

Vinon Import/Export and Enexo creation

2012

Vinon Import & Export located in Ningbo (China), integrate the Group.
It's a purchasing and souricng for Group's subdiniaries.
At the same time, the subsidiary Enexo is created.

Presidency changement

2014

The Group's presidency changes : Jean-Pierre Ferraud is nominated President.

New secondary establishment and purchase of DK+

2015

HBF Caraïbes, a new secondary etablishment is opened in Guadeloupe. An asset disposal plan enabled the Group to take over Prodelect+. A new Group subsidiary - NSP+ based in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert (42) - was created, enabling the Group to strengthen its presence in supermarkets.

BeeWi acquisition

2016

HBF Group acquires the connected objects company BeeWi as part of the takeover of certain assets of Avenir Telecom.

Barcelona and Labège offices opened

2017

A Spanish office was opened in Barcelona enable to cover Spain and Portugal zones.
An additional office was opened in Labege (31) : HBF Lab.

Relocation of the headquarters

2018-2019

The Group's head office moves from its historic site to Mazères (09).

Changement de Direction Générale

2019

Florent Fochesato remplace Marc Bergougnoux au poste de Directeur Général.

Acquisition of Dismo

2021

Acquisition of DISMO, a distributor of electrical, heating and lighting equipment and a subsidiary of the REXEL Group.
