INOTECH founded by Henri Forest and Jean-Pierre Fichepain, specialising in the design, manufacturing and sale of electrical equipment for major home improvement retailers.

2007

Acquisition of ELEXITY, specialising in importing, developing and distributing lighting systems.

Acquisition of OTIO, which designs comfort home automation solutions.

2008

hbfpolska

Creation of HBF Polska, based in Wroclaw, Poland, specialising in packaging and distribution of electrical equipment.

2009

HBF Group founded after a merger with the Spanish group, Cablerias.

2012

Acquisition of Vinon Import-Export, based in Ningbo, China, with central purchasing and development units for the group’s companies. Creation of Enexo, an e-commerce subsidiary.

2014

Change of President, with the nomination of Jean-Pierre Ferraud.

2014-2015

boat1The HBF Group agrees a sailing sponsorship programme with yachtsman, Kito de Pavant, in a boat emblazoned with the colours of Otio, the group’s flagship brand.

2015

Opening of HBF Caraïbes, based in Guadeloupe.

Acquisition of SNI as a distributor for the Indian Ocean.

2015

Buyout of Prodelect+ through an asset transfer plan. Creation of NSP+, a new group subsidiary, based in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert (42).

2016

BeeWi Otio

Acquisition of the connected object company, BeeWi, by takeover of certain assets belonging to the Avenir Telecom Company.

2016

Vendee-GlobeFirst participation in the Vendée Globe, flying the colours of Otio.

2017

152x152Opening of a Spanish office, in Madrid, enabling the group to cover Spain and Portugal.
